We are delighted to join the Permanent Representation of France to the OSCE and the Ambassade de France en Autriche in a timely discussion on combating sexual exploitation in armed conflicts. Our chairwoman, Ioana Bauer, will share some of the lessons learned and solutions piloted by our organization during the years that allowed for early, proactive identification of victims of human trafficking.

The new Romanian Strategy Against Human Trafficking was officially adopted last week and published today in the Official Gazette. Our team has been strategically involved in the consultations and we are currently working on several priorities that are included in the strategy such as the implementation of the National Referal Mechanism which will improve proactive identification. Together with our partners from the ProTECT Platform we will keep monitoring the implementation of the Strategy and the Action Plan. #endinghumantrafficking #ProTECT #victimsassistance
